This resource is a teacher's planning and activity package for the Bugs and Biodiversity outdoor program, which explores the diversity of insects and spiders found in the Peace Parkland ecoregion of northwestern Alberta. This program package gives details on how the program fits with the Alberta curriculum for Grade 2 Science and includes a planning checklist, information on what to bring along on fieldtrips, parent volunteer information, and supplementary pre-fieldtrip classroom activities, extension activities and resource materials.
