Description

Describes the Workforce Adjustment Service, which is available to help employers and labour groups develop a coordinated response to deal with the effects of workplace change such as business closure, downsizing, job loss and layoffs. Objectives of the service include assisting workers in finding alternate employment, retraining for alternate employment, transitioning to retirement and providing information on self-employment.
