Description
This report covers the results of an aerial ungulate survey conducted in the Handhills Wildlife Management Unit (WMU 160) from Jan. 21 to 24, 2019. The objective of the survey was to assess the status of the ungulate population by determining estimates for abundance, density and age-sex composition. Also recorded were observations of additional species of game management or conservation concern including elk, pronghorn, carnivores, game birds, and sensitive or at-risk species.
