Wildlife Management Unit 150 aerial ungulate survey (2019)

Description

Results from an aerial ungulate survey conducted in Alberta’s Wildlife Management Unit 150 (Jenner WMU) from February 12-13, 2019. The objective of the survey was to assess the status of the ungulate population by determining estimates for abundance, density and age-sex composition. Observations of additional species of game management or conservation concern including elk, pronghorn, carnivores, game birds, and sensitive or at risk species were also recorded.
