What we heard : Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) for single-use plastics, packaging, paper products, and hazardous and special products

Description

Alberta’s government is working on bringing extended producer responsibility (EPR) to the province. An EPR framework would create provincial systems for managing single-use plastics, packaging, paper products and hazardous and special products like household pesticides and solvents. This What We Heard document summarizes the key findings received to date to inform EPR in Alberta, and serves as an update to stakeholders and Albertans on the progress to date towards EPR.
