Description

In an effort to reduce cumulative impacts to land, industry has increasingly been using no-strip or reduced disturbance construction on natural landscapes, such as prairie and forested areas, and on cultivated land. Inappropriate use of these practices can result in damage to soils and vegetation. This fact sheet provides guidance for implementation of these practices to assure the best environmental outcomes.
