Description

Many small to medium-sized businesses in Alberta generate or manage hazardous waste and hazardous recyclables, such as used oil, undrained used oil filters, spent antifreeze, used car batteries, paint leftovers, spent solvents, corrosives, cleaning products, etc. This document is intended to provide these businesses with a consolidated summary of the essential requirements and expected practices under the Environmental Protection and Enhancement Act for the management of these hazardous waste and hazardous recyclables.
