This guide is intended for service providers who work with seniors and who may be in a situation where elder abuse is suspected. This guide will provide service providers with the knowledge of the legislation that applies to their role as a service provider, including how legislation supports them at work to prevent and address elder abuse. It also outlines factors that need to be considered in making decisions about how and when information about a senior can be shared, if elder abuse is suspected.
