Description

Presents the results of groundwater monitoring at the historic Turner Valley gas plant. The objective of this program was to improve the understanding of groundwater flow at the site and delineate the distribution of contaminants of concern along the boundaries of the site. The Turner Valley gas plant, western Canada’s first natural gas processing and refining facility and the site of Alberta’s first major oil and gas discovery, is a provincial historic resource and a national historic site.
