Travel activities and motivations of Canadian residents : an overview

Description

This report is based on the 2006 Travel Activities and Motivations Survey (TAMS), which was conducted between January and June 2006 and which examined the recreational activities and travel habits of Canadians and Americans. The survey provides detailed information on travellers’ activities, travel motivators, places visited, type of accommodation used, impressions of Canada, its provinces and territories, demographics and media consumption patterns. This report deals only with the travel patterns and attitudes of Canadians who were surveyed.
