Surveillance of ticks on companion animals in Alberta

Alberta Agriculture and Forestry, Alberta Health and Alberta Health Services conduct a surveillance program for ticks, monitoring the type and number of ticks that attach to companion animals, livestock and humans, and also those found in the environment. This report provides an annual summary of results for companion animals, which includes dogs, cats, and horses .
