Description

The purpose of this soil survey is to describe the properties, extent and distribution of soils in the M.D. of Rocky View, as well as to provide interpretations relating to agriculture and soil conservation issues. The current survey provides considerably more detail than previous surveys of the area and utilizes significant advances in soil classification and mapping procedures developed since completion of the earlier surveys.
