Description

The soil survey report for the County of St. Paul begins with a general overview of the survey area in terms of climatic, ecological and geologic characteristics, followed by a general description of the soil types and associated landforms in the sixteen land systems identified in the County. Chapter 3 documents the methodology and assumptions used to rate the soil map units for arable agriculture and range productivity. The report includes five appendices and four planimetric base soil maps.
