This is the standard operating procedure for measuring ambient particulate matter. It provides guidance for the operation, calibration and maintenance of the Thermo Scientific Model 5030 and 5030i Synchronized Hybrid Ambient Real-time Particulate (SHARP) Monitors. The SOP provides procedures consistent with national and international standards to Alberta Environment and Parks staff, Airsheds and other organizations across Alberta for monitoring PM under OSM.
