The Security Services and Investigators Act focuses on providing higher standards for the security services and investigator industries in Alberta. Businesses operating under the Act are required to submit a code of conduct to the Registrar for approval. This fact sheet provides background information on the policy, and provides a sample code of conduct policy that can be used as a starting point for businesses as they develop their codes of conduct.
