Ministry of Human Services’ response to the Office of the Child and Youth Advocate "Six-week-old Nicole : an investigative review"

Description

In 2013, a six-week-old infant fell asleep on her father’s chest; when he awoke, he found her unresponsive. The Office of the Chief Medical Examiner determined that the manner and cause of death was undetermined. This report provides the Ministry response to the OCYA recommendations about two key areas related to practice and processes concerning services to vulnerable children in Alberta.
