Range inventory manual

Description

This manual provides the recommended methodology to carry out a range inventory or inventory reassessment that meets certification criteria required for grazing leaseholders within the Rocky Mountains Forest Reserve. The purpose of an inventory is to quantify the landscape to provide a basis for management decisions that will maintain the natural ecological functions of each management unit (i.e. distribution unit, pasture, or field).
