Environment and Sustainable Resource Development and delegated regulatory bodies manage the use of public land for all Albertans through the issuance of dispositions. The Public Lands Administration Regulation has established three classes of disposition: formal dispositions, authorizations, and approvals. These procedures outline the operational policy, process and procedures for temporary field authorizations and disposition operational approvals. Other regulatory authorizations or administrative approvals are not covered in this document.
