Pedestrian countdown signals

Description

Provides guidance on the recommended placement of pedestrian countdown signals, which display a countdown feature showing how much crossing time remains by way of a descending numerical countdown, along with the standard walk/don't walk signal indications. Part of a series of recommended practices for traffic control measures, including roadway signs and signals, pavement markings, traffic operations, roadside development and at-grade rail crossings.
