Public Trustee Act

Description

The Public Trustee Act creates the office of the Public Trustee in Alberta, and sets out the duties and functions of the Public Trustee, including acting as a trustee for people who have lost capacity under the Adult Guardianship and Trusteeship Act, administering the estates of deceased persons, and holding funds in trust for minors. The Act sets out how the Public Trustee operates and how money is managed.
