Description

This Act establishes access zones around abortion facilities that are identified by regulation. It is an offence to carry out certain activities within an access zone, including protesting or interfering with or intimidating a patient, physician or service provider, or to photograph or record a patient, physician or service provider who is within an access zone without the person’s consent. The Act also creates offences for certain activities carried out for the purpose of persuading persons not to access or provide abortion services. Access zones may also be established by regulation around the residences of physicians or service providers and around physicians’ offices.
