Description
The Post-secondary Learning Act, together with the regulations, governs the Alberta post-secondary system (universities, comprehensive community colleges, polytechnic institutions, specialized arts and cultural institutions and independent academic institutions), including the six-sector model. The Minister of Advanced Education has sole responsibility for the majority of the Act except for certain sections that are either shared with the Minister of Infrastructure or are the sole responsibility of the Minister of Infrastructure.
