Description

Prior to the 2011-2012 fiscal year, the Office of the Child and Youth Advocate (OCYA) issued a quarterly report which provided statistical information regarding all children referred to the OCYA through mandatory notifications. These documents present the government’s response to the OCYA quarterly reports. They provide brief descriptions of the incidents where allegations of abuse of a child in care were substantiated by the OCYA, and the subsequent actions taken by the government in response to these allegations.
