Northeast Alberta operating ground rules

Description

This document outlines the ground rules which apply to all forest companies operating in northeast Alberta’s forest management units and the Alberta-Pacific Forest Management Agreement. Ground rules are the practices used in planning and conducting timber harvesting operations. They constitute the methods used to implement decisions made in Forest Management Plans (FMP) and other higher-level plans such as Integrated Resource Plans (IRP). Ground rules establish practices that minimize the chance of negative effects from timber harvesting and forest management operations and activities.
