Indigenous primary health care innovation forum : what we heard

Description

This document summarizes what was heard from participants and presenters during the Indigenous Primary Health Care Innovation Forum, held in Edmonton on January 10 and 11, 2023. The purpose of the forum was to discuss current challenges in Alberta's primary health care system for First Nations, Métis and Inuit peoples, and to identify innovative solutions from other jurisdictions to address these challenges. Results of the forum will also inform inform the Indigenous Primary Health Care Advisory Panel's final report to the Minister of Health.
