Management plan for wild turkeys in Alberta

Description

Alberta Environment and Parks has recently developed its first management plan for wild turkeys. The Management Plan for Wild Turkeys in Alberta includes three proposed goals and several supporting objectives. Wild turkeys were introduced to parts of southern Alberta on a limited basis in 1962, and hunting on a limited draw basis in southern Alberta since 1991.
