Mineral Resource Development Act

Description

The Mineral Resource Development Act provides for the responsible development of Alberta mineral resources in the public interest. It is administered by the Alberta Energy Regulator and applies to all naturally occurring mineral resources in Alberta; and related wells, facilities, well sites, facility sites, mines, mine sites, external mine discard dumps and processing plants throughout their life cycles, as defined in the Act.
