Livestock Identification and Commerce Act

Description

The Livestock Identification and Commerce Act enables the licensing and permitting processes for dealing in livestock and livestock products. The Act also establishes the Livestock Patrons’ Claims Review Tribunal and describes its powers and purpose. The Act outlines the powers of inspectors to ensure compliance. Offences related to, and penalties for, contravention of the Act are described.
