Intersection Safety Device Program : red-light camera analysis

Description

This study was initiated to evaluate red-light camera programs implemented in multiple jurisdictions within Alberta. The main objectives of the study were to investigate the impact of red light cameras on the number, type and severity of traffic collisions at monitored intersections, as well as the number of red light violations occurring at these intersections.
