Description

Significant changes have been made to the import protocol for the transport of domestic cervids from Saskatchewan into Alberta for slaughter. Based upon risk mitigation principles, and cognisant of the spread of chronic wasting disease into Alberta, distinctions are drawn for travel to slaughter through chronic wasting disease endemic or non-endemic areas.
