Impact of southern Alberta flooding on hours worked and GDP

Description

Over the final two weeks of June 2013, Southern Alberta experienced extensive flooding in several communities, causing high amounts of damage. Approximately 5.1 million hours of work were lost due to the flooding over this period, resulting in $485 million of lost economic output by the private sector.
