Description

This guide introduces Alberta's occupational health and safety laws and the role of employers in ensuring health and safety at the work site. It discusses provincial legislation related to occupational health and safety and describes the responsibilities of the worker, supervisors and the provincial government, as well as those of the employer, in ensuring a healthy and safe workplace. It also looks at non-compliance and explains what steps can be taken if supervisors or other work site parties don't comply with the law.
