Guide signs for large trip generators

Description

Provides guidance on the use of signage for large developments or groups of developments (such as large industrial plants) that may generate sufficient volumes of unfamiliar drivers to justify the installation of directional guide signs along the highway. Part of a series of recommended practices for traffic control measures, including roadway signs and signals, pavement markings, traffic operations, roadside development and at-grade rail crossings.
