Description

Accreditation is a voluntary process that objectively assesses whether child care programs meet child care standards of excellence. The Government of Alberta recognizes licensed out-of-school care programs that have achieved the accreditation standards of excellence by providing staff funding at enhanced rates. This guide explains the accreditation process, the types funding available for accredited child care programs or those programs working through the accreditation process, and how to apply for funding.
