Guidance for use of Phase 1 environmental assessment guideline for upstream oil and gas sites

Description

Reclamation certificates are required for activities that are carried out on specified land, which is land that is being or has been used or held for or in connection with the construction, operation or reclamation of a well, oil production site, battery or pipeline. Prior to reclamation, a Phase 1 environmental site assessment is usually conducted to know if contamination is likely to be present.
