Government of Alberta cybersecurity strategy : annual update

Description

Sets priorities for the Government of Alberta (GoA) to address the management, control and protection of the Province’s information and technology assets. It outlines the objectives that future initiatives will focus on and identifies necessary components to strengthen the GoA’s security posture. The strategy employs a risk-based decision process with four objectives: to secure GoA information assets; to increase stakeholder awareness in order to minimize the risk of social engineering and human errors; to implement monitoring and intelligence services that identify threats; and to continue evolving security controls that counter cyber threats.
