The Freedom to Care Act Cabinet authority to consider and grant one-time, common-sense exemptions to a regulatory requirement for non-profits performing a social good, where no other exemption mechanism exists. This document explains the new regulatory exemptions under the Act and describes how non-profits can apply for exemptions.
