This resource was developed to assist agencies and professionals needing to manage risks related to property or materials contaminated with fentanyl. Procedures for the assessment and remediation of property or materials contaminated with fentanyl are outlined. These will be most applicable in situations where contamination with fentanyl is known or determined to have occurred. Typically, the need for assessment and remediation will be triggered by law enforcement or another regulatory agency.
