Description

This manual contains the standards for operating an approved family day home service for the purposes of providing child care to children. A family day home is one of the child care options available to parents in Alberta. They provide child care to a maximum of six children aged 0-12 years old in the private residences of the providers. In Alberta, a family day home must be approved by a contracted family day home agency and abide by the provincial Family Day Home Standards.
