Engineering and Geoscience Professions Act

Description

The Engineering and Geoscience Professions Act establishes the Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of Alberta (APEGA) and the Association of Science and Engineering Technology Professionals of Alberta (ASET) as the self-governing regulatory organizations responsible for members in their respective professions in Alberta. The Act sets out the scope of practice for APEGA members and contains provisions regarding membership application, registration, practice review, conduct and discipline.
