Directive : impacts of wildfire burned areas on annual allowable cuts

Description

This directive outlines the updated requirements for incorporating wildfire impacts into Annual Allowable Cut (AAC) determination, either in support of forest management plan development or during AAC impact assessments required following wildfire events. This Directive replaces those portions of the Alberta Forest Management Planning Standard, Annex 1, Appendix B not already superseded by Directives 2007-01 (Fire Salvage Planning and Operations) and 2014-01 (Assessing Damage from Disturbance to Regenerating Forest Stands in Cutblock Openings and Recovering Productivity).
