Description

The Alberta government's mission is to provide a safe, innovative and sustainable world-class transportation system by preserving and developing provincial highways while ensuring the safety of all motorists who travel on them. As the number of heavier vehicles on the highways increases, the Alberta government must work more diligently than ever to provide a safe, efficient and quality network of highways. In support of this mission, the Alberta government has prepared this manual to assist commercial truck and bus companies and their employees to operate safely and in a manner which is compliant with legislation relevant to the National Safety Code.
