Description

Record of decision of the Chief Medical Officer of Health outlining new restrictions and prohibitions to protect Albertans and prevent the spread of COVID-19. Albertans are prohibited from attending gatherings of more than 15 people, and they must continue to observe two metres of social distancing. There are also new restrictions are in place for close contact businesses, dine-in restaurants and non-essential retail services. Note: see the Related tab for exemptions and amendments to this order; and previous order 02-2020, which prohibited attendance at gatherings of more than 50 people (now 15 people); and attendance at public recreational facilities, private entertainment facilities, bars and nightclubs.

NOTE: Effective June 12, 2020, this order was rescinded by CMOH Order 25-2020 (see Related tab).
