Description

Under the requirement in Section 34 of the OHS Code, all building materials with the potential to release asbestos fibers must be removed prior to demolition of a structure. This fact sheet discusses how employers can ensure the safe removal of debris containing asbestos during demolition, and when and how acceptances to Section 34 can be obtained,
