Description

Automated traffic enforcement technology is an important enforcement tool for traffic safety in Alberta. Albertans expect automated traffic technology to be used fairly and with consistency throughout the province, allowing for recognition of local concerns in accordance with community-based policing. These policies are designed to ensure that the expectations of Albertans’ are met through the implementation of a standardized level of training. These guidelines will come into effect on May 1, 2006.
