Description
Alberta Environment and Parks (AEP) regulates work in or near Alberta's water bodies, including lakes, wetlands, rivers, and streams. With few exceptions, the lands of the bed and shore of permanent and naturally occurring bodies of water are public land, and the property of all Albertans. AEP manages access, work, and occupation on these public lands through authorizations under the Public Lands Act.
