Description

The current law enforcement landscape in Alberta is complex. A variety of police services and other agencies provide services in the province, under many different agreements, with varying responsibilities at a federal, provincial and local level. By far, the largest police service in Alberta is the Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP). The scope of this report is focused only on the services provided by the RCMP in Alberta today.
