Ambulance safety inspection manual. Volume 4

Description

The Ambulance Services Act and its regulations require that semi-annual safety inspections be performed on each licensed ambulance. Properly conducted safety inspections will identify components that are in need of repair or replacement to maintain the ambulance in safe, reliable running order. This manual outlines the standards to be used when inspecting ambulances. The technician responsible for the inspection will apply these standards to determine whether or not an ambulance passes the inspection.
