Description
The Alberta Vaccine Storage and Handling Policy applies to all provincially-funded vaccines and outlines the accountabilities, roles and responsibilities for staff and immunizers in maintaining vaccine viability for provincially funded vaccines. The policy sets out cold chain (storage, transport, and handling) requirements for staff and immunizers in order to maintain the safety and efficacy of provincially funded vaccine.
