Alberta traffic safety communications plan : three-year strategy (2008-2010)

Description

The three-year Alberta Traffic Safety Social Marketing Plan incorporates multiple components to effectively address the diverse and complex topics within the scope of traffic safety. It brings the issues together into one comprehensive social marketing plan. This plan addresses provincial traffic safety challenges in the context of Road Safety Vision 2010, the McDermid Report, the Alberta Traffic Safety Plan (TSP), the Alberta Traffic Safety Plan Calendar and collision data. Specifically, the plan was developed around a number of critical success factors including 2010 targets for fatality and injury reductions, consistent messaging across internal and external audiences, sound creative positioning, the right media mix and public relations supports.
